Of course we have a right to privacy in the United States ! Otherwise we wouldn’t be a liberal democracy if we didn’t. Because the state at all levels of government would be able to break in to our homes and places of business without any reasons let alone just-cause, when instead they need just-cause and in a lot of cases a warrant issued by a judge to break in to people’s homes or search their homes. And we have the right to privacy as then Judge John Roberts said in both the first and fourth amendments in the United States Constitution. And without that we would essentially be prisoners of the state in America.
